NDTP2214 : Neurodiagnostics II

Neurodiagnostics II offers a deeper insight into Neurodiagnostic Technology. The student will study normal and abnormal functional neuro-anatomical and physiological correlation to various illnesses and neurological disease processes, disorders and the integration of the electroencephalographic patterns. The student will learn the maturational patterns from the neonate to geriatric. In the lab component, the student will learn about the various techniques for routine studies and advanced studies for specific diagnosis such as special electrode applications, montage variations, with the use of the varied filters and settings on the NDT machines. Medication and the effect it has on the NDT procedures will also be studied.
