GE102 : Professionalism for Allied Health Careers

Students learn and practice soft skills needed for successful employment in allied health. Students explore attitudes, behaviors, and communication skills expected by employers, coworkers and patients, then apply them in role play, journaling, and case studies. Students prepare résumés, practice interview skills, and are introduced to financial literacy concepts. Through self-examination and experiential exercises students improve their interactions with others and become more prepared for the professional workforce.
